Hanyuwu (汉语屋) means "the Chinese house" — and that is exactly what we are building: a house where the world comes to learn Chinese and fall in love with Chinese culture.
It started with a free website, hanyuwu.com: 90 everyday phrases taught through six street-level scenes, a free Chinese name card for every visitor, and 242 stories from the Shan Hai Jing — China's 4,000-year-old book of mountains, seas and impossible creatures.
This shop is how the house pays its rent. Everything here is designed in-house: the epic beast art from our own video series, the oracle deck, the field guide, the personalized name reports. Digital products are delivered by email, usually within a few hours — no warehouses, no waiting, just the good stuff.
Learn Chinese. Love Chinese Culture. Welcome in.
