Shan Hai Jing 5e Monster Manual — 12 Mythical Beasts with Full Stat Blocks (PDF)

Twelve monsters from the oldest bestiary on Earth, ready for your 5e table.

The Shan Hai Jing (Classic of Mountains and Seas) catalogued China's mythical creatures over two thousand years ago. This unofficial, fan-made supplement turns twelve of them into complete, ready-to-run 5th-edition monsters — each with an illustrated lore entry, two encounter hooks, and a full original stat block (traits, actions, and legendary actions for the great powers).

The twelve: Jingwei (CR 1), Bifang (CR 3), Kuafu (CR 4), Luwu (CR 5), Baize (CR 6), Nine-Tailed Fox (CR 8), Nvba (CR 9), Taotie (CR 10), Xiangliu (CR 12), Xingtian (CR 13), Yinglong (CR 15), Zhulong (CR 18).

Inside the pack (digital download, 28 pages):

• Full-colour monster manual PDF
• Printer-friendly light edition with identical content
• Stat blocks balanced against standard challenge-rating guidelines
• Lore retold from the classics, plus GM guidance on running beasts that reward brains over blades
